1. Go to Main menu > Settings > Property.

2. In the General settings section, update all relevant fields:

Identifier An identifying number associated with this specific property for internal use within Mews.

Subscription An identifying number associated with this specific property for internal use within Mews.

Chain The chain your property belongs to. Note: This field is not editable.

Name Enter the name of your property.

Short name Enter a shortened name for places in Commander where space is limited (for example, reports).

Unique name Enter the name of your property without spaces and in lowercase (for example, enter "waldorf-astoria" if the name of your property is Waldorf Astoria.

Note: This is used in the link that is emailed to customers with their login details.

Type Select your property type.

Email Enter an email address that customers can send general inquiries to.

Telephone Enter a telephone number (including country code) that customers can call.

Website URL Enter the URL for your property's website. Note: You must include https:// at the beginning of the URL.

Address Enter your property's address. You can enter the latitude and longitude for more precise mapping of your location.

Operational editable history window Choose how far back in time your staff can modify operations in Commander, such as room blocks, reservations, and service orders.

3. When you've completed the General settings section, open the Globalization section below it and update all relevant fields:

Time zone The time zone that your property is located in. If this information isn't correct, contact Mews support.

Legal environment The country that your property is located in. Your legal environment determines the taxation and accounting rules for your property. If this information isn't correct, contact Mews support.

Default currency The currency used at your property, by default. If this information isn't correct, contact Mews support.

Default language Choose the default language you want to use in communications with customers. Note: This language will only be used in customer communications if the customer's language isn't specified in their profile.

Default culture Choose your culture to determine how dates, times, and calendar weeks are formatted.

4. When you've completed the Globalization section, open the Subscription section below it and update all relevant fields:

Code An identifying number associated with this specific property for internal use.

Email Enter the email address that invoices from Mews should be sent to.

First name Enter the first name of the responsible party that invoices from Mews should be addressed to.

Last name Enter the last name of the responsible party that invoices from Mews should be addressed to.

Company Enter the official name of the company that will be included on all invoices from Mews.

Tax identifier Enter your property's unique tax ID number.

Address Enter the address that invoices should be sent to.

5. Click Save.
