After you create a space category, you can update it and add an image to it.

Note: In order to modify space categories, employees need the configure service privilege. Learn about updating employee profiles.

Update a space category

  1. Go to Main menu > Settings > Services.
  2. Click on your bookable service.
  3. On the left, in the list of Settings, click Space categories.
  4. Click on the space category you want to update.
  5. Update the space category details.
  6. Click Save.

Add images for the Mews booking engine

You can add multiple images of the space category to be displayed in the Mews booking engine. If you don't add an image of the space category, your sign-in image will be used instead.

  1. Go to Main menu > Settings > Services.
  2. Click on your bookable service.
  3. On the left, in the list of Settings, click Space categories.
  4. Click on the space category you want to add an image for.
  5. Upload your picture—if you can see the file name in your documents, drag it into the dropzone. If not, click into the dropzone and search for the file by name.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 for every image of the space category you want displayed in the booking engine. If you add multiple images of the space category, you can click the More Options icon next to an image to delete it or change the order that the images appear in the booking engine.

Our supported image formats are JPG and PNG. For the best results, we recommend high-resolution photos.
