Vouchers give customers, companies, and travel agencies access to special rates. Before you can create a voucher, you must create the private rate it will be attached to.

For a voucher to be accessible in Distributor, customers must have the voucher (promotional) code.

Step 1: Create the voucher

  1. Go to Main menu > Settings > Services.
  2. Select your stay service.
  3. Click Vouchers.
  4. Click the + button.
  5. Enter the name of the voucher.
  6. If you have a special rate for a company or travel agency, select the company or travel agency you want to create the voucher for. You cannot link a voucher to both a company and a travel agency.
  7. Select the rates you want the voucher to be attached to. If you don't select a rate, the voucher will not work.
  8. Click Create.

Step 2: Create the voucher code

When you create a voucher, a voucher code will be automatically generated.

A voucher code cannot be modified, so if you want to update the name or dates of validity, you must create a new voucher code.

  1. Go to Main menu > Settings > Services.
  2. Select your stay service.
  3. Click Vouchers.
  4. Click on the voucher you want to create a voucher code for.
  5. Click the + button.
  6. In the Value field, update the name of the code or keep the unique value automatically generated by Commander.
  7. In the Valid from and Valid until fields, enter the dates during which the voucher is active and can be used by guests book their reservation. If you don't select any dates, the voucher code will not be valid for a specific time period (guests will be able to use the code to make reservations from the moment it is created until it is deleted).
  8. Click Create.

An example voucher code
