Swiss properties are legally required to include a QR code on every invoice. Your guests can scan this QR code to automatically fill your IBAN, property information, and outstanding balance in their banking app.

If your property is Swiss, you need to set up the QR code payment integration to automatically add QR codes to your invoices.

Note: Customers and companies can still pay via other payment methods if they don’t want to use the QR code.

Step 1: Create the integration

  1. Go to Main menu > Marketplace.

  2. In the Legal Environment section, click See more under QR code payment integration.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. Complete all relevant fields:
    - IBAN: Must be a Swiss IBAN number.

  5. Click Create.
    - When the integration has been successfully created, you'll be redirected to the My subscriptions tab.

  6. In your list of active integrations, find the QR code payment integration and click Settings.

  7. Select the Enabled checkbox.

  8. Click Save.

Step 2: Check your property settings

Before you can use the integration, you need to make sure your property settings are completed correctly:

  1. Go to Main menu > Settings > Property.

  2. Make sure the following fields are completed:
    - Address line 1
    - Address line 2 (if applicable)
    - Country

  3. Click Save.

Using the integration

This integration validates company and customer profiles to ensure that all necessary information is provided. You won't be able to close any invoices until the following fields are filled:

  • Name - The company or customer's name.

  • Address line 1

  • Address line 2 (if applicable)

  • Country

The QR code is only added to an invoice when there is an outstanding balance.
