Automatic settlements can be set up in your rate groups settings.
It involves ensuring that the Settlement option is set to Automatic.
Virtual Credit Cards (VCC), which are typically sent to Mews through Channel Manager reservations, are usually only chargeable from the day of arrival of the guest, but If it fails we try it again on the day after arrival.
This means that if a VCC is attempted to be charged earlier, it will fail and cause the charge failed in the Payments tab of the guest profile.
Therefore to ensure that VCCs are charged properly the settlement trigger will need to be set to Start.
