When setting up restrictions for one rate, we recommend setting them up separately.

When inventory information is sent to the various Channel Managers, multiple exceptions and overlapping restrictions tend to cause problems by being merged.

Because of this, we recommend ensuring that relevant restrictions do not overlap in the time interval. The list view of all restrictions helps to identify potentially problematic ones.

For exceptions, it is necessary to ensure that exception types are not combined in one restriction. If multiple exception types are needed, then the restrictions should be split, with each containing only one exception type. Exception types include the following:

  • Advance
  • Length
  • Price

Instead of using multiple exceptions to close restrictions, create one different restriction for each condition to be filled.

We are working closely with channel managers to improve this process, and we invite you to upvote this request on our feedback page!
