In certain cases (for example a financial audit), you might need all your bills and invoices so you can present them upon request. In some countries, there is even a regulation for the bills to be printed as a physical document and saved for several years.

How can you make sure you always have access to your bills and invoices?

We don't want to kill trees intentionally, but since this is a regulation in several countries, you might need to do that.

Download them as a PDF and store them

You can create a folder on your computer and even divide it by years and months and store the bills and invoices there. You might want to do it every time you close a bill or an invoice, or once per day/week/month. This really depends on the number of bills you are issuing.

Tip: If you are tech-savvy, you might be able to create a Chrome Macro which will download the bills for you automatically. It is not an easy setup and we can't advise you about how to do it but you can research possibilities on Google.

The Mews team can download and store your bills and invoices

If you have not consistently stored your bills in the past, and you want to be sure that you have a full record of every single bill in PDF format stored in one central location, we can help!

We can make a Mews team member available to assist with the manual export and storage of your bills. Downloading this volume of bills will take a couple of days on our side, and we will invoice €1,000 for this work for every year of bills downloaded per property.
