Mews Analytics has various filters to help you narrow down data to help you find the exact information you are looking for.

Keep in mind that if you are managing a chain the reports will show all the data from across all the properties within the chain. If you only want to see data from a specific property in the chain, you will find a drop-down menu in all the tabs within Mews Analytics that will allow you to select one property or multiple properties to help you visualize the data that you want.

Note: If you refresh the page all filters will return to their default value, this is useful in case you have used many filters and you want to clear them all at once.

Filters are divided in two categories: Filters on this page, and Filters on all pages.

The filters in the Filters on this page category will only apply to the page on the report you’re in. For example, if you’re in Manager Analytics and on the Booking Window tab if you use any filters within the Filters on this page category that filter will only be applied to the Booking Window tab.

The filters in the Filters on all pages category will apply to the entirety of the report you’re in. For example, if you’re in Manager Analytics and you use any filters within the Filters on all pages category that filter will be applied to all the tabs within Manager Analytics.

There are also two other types of filters we can identify within the Filters on this page category: Date and Time related filters, and filters that vary depending on which tab of that report you are in.

The Date filter has four different options to help you filter the exact data you want to see, these four options are Advanced filtering, Basic filtering, Relative date, and Relative time.

Advanced filtering: This is the most complex filtering type out of all the options within the date filter. It is especially helpful to see data between two dates. For example, if you want to see how many reservations were created between the 1st and the 5th of December 2020 in your property you would set the filter to Is on or after input 12/1/2020, mark the And checkbox, Is on or before input 12/5/2020 like represented in the image below.

Basic filtering: This filtering type will display a list with every day from the year to date. This will help you narrow your search results to see with more detail day to day information.

Relative date: This filtering option will allow you to see information based on your current date. For example, you can use it to see the data for the entire year based on the current date of the search.

Relative time: This filtering option will allow you to see information based on your current time. For example, you can use it to see the data from the last 48 hours based on the current time of the search. Please keep in mind that the latest data comes from the last refresh marked at the bottom of the screen and that the times are in UTC.

The rest of the filters will be different depending on the page of the report that you're in, they are specifically made for each report to help you find and visualize only the data you are searching for.

Finally, to apply any of the filters you have to click the Apply filter button and if you want to clear the filter click the eraser icon.
