When a manually created reservation is entered in Mews, the automatic settlement will not be triggered. This is because there is no credit card attached to the reservation.
For a credit card to be attached to the reservation, it needs to come from the Channel Manager or the Booking Engine. If you enter the credit card manually, it needs to be confirmed by the guest in Online Guest Services. Even if there is a credit card in the profile of the guest, it needs to be confirmed by them to make sure that the automatic settlement is triggered.

2. The credit card has been manually added. We can see that the card is in their profile, but still not attached to the reservation.
3. The card has been confirmed in Navigator. We can see that the credit card is attached to the reservation, because it was confirmed by the guest.
