The City Tax Report shows you how much city tax is applied to reservations within the selected time period—in Detailed mode, you can also see which reservations the city tax was applied to. Note: You can only use or access this report if you have hard-coded city tax enabled.
Reading the report
City tax is listed by date (and in Detailed mode, separated into reservations).
The date that the city tax applied to.
The reservation that the city tax was applied to (click on a reservation to go to the reservation module). Note: In Totals mode, you'll see the number of reservations that city tax was applied to on each date.
The number of people in the reservation.
The number of nights that city tax is applied to. Nights are counted for every guest on a reservation (so if a reservation has 2 guests, the Night count will be "2").
|Excluded person count||
The number of guests on a reservation that don't need to pay city tax (for example, because their age excludes them from city tax rules).
|Average night rate||
The cost for that night of the reservation. Note: In Totals mode, this will show the average cost for all reservations grouped under that date.
|Average person night rate||
The average nightly cost of a reservation per person.
The amount of city tax paid for the selected dates of the reservation.
