This integration helps you expand your reach, manage bookings efficiently, and enhance your distribution portfolio without incurring additional costs. You can enable the integration anytime within the Mews Marketplace in Mews Operations.

Note: Airbnb powered by SiteMinder integration is only available to properties that do not already operate with SiteMinder.

What are the benefits of the Airbnb powered by SiteMinder integration? 

The Airbnb powered by SiteMinder integration offers several benefits: 

• Free connection for Mews customer: Mews customers do not have to pay additional costs to connect their properties to Airbnb via SiteMinder. Note: Costs for Siteminder may be incurred.
• Two-way sync for reservations, room rates, and availability: Ensures that your listings on Airbnb are always up-to-date with the latest information from your Mews system. 
• Intelligent updates to reduce accidental overbookings: The system intelligently manages updates to minimize the risk of overbookings, ensuring a smoother booking process. 
• Auto-replenishment to ensure canceled rooms go back up for sale on Airbnb immediately: Automatically puts canceled rooms back on sale on Airbnb, maximizing your property’s occupancy and revenue.

How do I connect the Airbnb powered by SiteMinder integration?  

Note: You need to first connect and configure the SiteMinder integration in the Mews Marketplace before proceeding with the Airbnb integration. You can learn how to connect and configure the SiteMinder channel manager for Mews Operations here. 

1. Install Airbnb powered by SiteMinder integration on Mews Marketplace: To connect the Airbnb powered by SiteMinder integration, complete Step 1 in the article here. 
2. Download, fill in and send the registration form: Download the SiteMinder Mews AIRBNB Customer Registration form and fill in the necessary details.  

• • If you are already live with Mews, send the form to Mews Support by submitting a support ticket in Mews Operations
  • If you are in onboarding with the digital onboarding package, then send the form to [email protected] 
  • If you are in onboarding with another onboarding package, send the form to [email protected].

3. Install SiteMinder integration: If you do not have the SiteMinder integration installed, install through the Mews Marketplace. You can learn how to set up and configure the integration here.
4. Onboarding: SiteMinder reaches out for further onboarding steps. In the meantime, make sure to set up the SiteMinder integration with mapping first so that the integration with Airbnb works.

Note: Once you follow the above steps, you end up with two integrations.

1. Airbnb powered by SiteMinder: To download the file and give Mews an overview of integration usage. This connection does not count towards your allotted connections in the Mews package.
2. SiteMinder: To set up and connect. This connection does count towards your allotted connections in the Mews package.

How do I cancel or offboard the integration? 

If you need to cancel or offboard from the integration: 

1. Cancel your Airbnb subscription with SiteMinder. 
2. Inform Mews: 

• • Inform Mews Customer Support about the cancellation. 
  • Mews handles the offboarding process and terminates your integration. 

Note: Airbnb has a 30-day cancellation policy. Ensure you plan your offboarding process accordingly. 

Can I connect multiple Airbnb accounts? 

Only if the apartments are in the same location. If your apartments are in different locations, Mews does not cover multiple Airbnb accounts by default. Mews only offers one free Airbnb integration per location. If this occurs, Mews works with SiteMinder to find a solution for your scenario.
