Some channel manager integrations require a username and password for authentication. These are some important points to remember to avoid invalid credentials:
- The username and password you enter into your channel manager integration in Mews Operations must be the same as those provided by your channel manager partner.
- These credentials are not the same as those you may use to access your channel manager extranet.
- You can usually obtain these credentials from your channel manager support.
- If the username and password do not match between your channel manager in Mews Operations and the channel manager extranet, the connection may fail, and your channel manager may not work as expected.
If you receive a notification email that says your credentials are invalid, you need to check that your channel manager credentials in Mews Operations are the same as those in the channel manager extranet.
To check your channel manager credentials in Mews Operations:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Marketplace > My subscriptions.
- Locate your channel manager. Click on Edit to go to the settings page.
- If required, update the credentials and click Save. You can update these credentials in the channel manager extranet as well.
