Connecting Delphi with Mews allows you to manage group blocks and availability updates. You start the process by requesting integration from Delphi and enter into an integration agreement. You can then prepare for onboarding and enable the integration within the Mews Marketplace in Mews Operations. This ensures correct configuration and synchronization between Delphi, Mews, and Omniboost.
Note:
- The integration agreement process takes time. Mews recommends you start the process as early as possible.
- Mews and Omniboost do not require any additional paperwork.

The teams involved in the Mews x Delphi integration
Several teams play a role in setting up the Delphi integration:
Delphi
- Assigns a project manager to each property
- Acts as a consultant throughout onboarding
- Does not configure the connection on behalf of the property
- Offers configuration services at an additional cost
Omniboost
- Provides a support team to set credentials
- Assists with configuration and integration enablement
Mews
- If a property is new to Mews, the Mews onboarding manager helps with configuration
- If a property already uses Mews, the Technical Applications team assists from the start
The onboarding steps for the Mews x Delphi integration
The onboarding process,
- consists of several steps and requires coordination between Delphi, Mews, and Omniboost
- takes two consecutive days
Note: You must complete configuration and data clean up before onboarding. You can follow the steps here.
1. Coordination before onboarding
- Delphi assigns a project manager
- Delphi schedules a kick-off call with Mews and Omniboost
- The kick-off call includes a review of the property setup and an onboarding plan
- A summary with action points is shared with the property
2. Onboarding process
Day 1
Day 1 of the onboarding process includes the following steps:
- Readiness review call
- Review data preparation and check task completion
- Delphi configuration
- Mews and Omniboost configuration
- The property configures settings with guidance from Mews and Omniboost
- Integration testing
- The property performs tests with guidance from Mews and Omniboost
Day 2
Day 2 of the onboarding process includes the following steps:
- Blocks linking and syncing
- Availability update from Mews to Delphi
- Integration switch-on
How to prepare for onboarding
Before the onboarding process begins, you must complete the following essential configuration steps:
1. Blocks linking between Mews and Delphi
- Check if all Mews blocks exist in Delphi
- If not, create them in Delphi
- Confirm that the following values match in both systems:
- Start and end dates
- Block status
- Cutoff date
- Add group block codes to Room Blocks in Delphi
- The block code must match the Mews External ID
- Add a rate code to blocks in Delphi if it triggers rules in Mews
You can learn more about how to manage data during onboarding with the Mews x Delphi integration here.
2. Rate plan considerations
- In Delphi,
- you cannot map rates
- rate plans are optional when creating a block
- If you do not enter a rate plan, Mews assigns a fallback rate plan mapped in Omniboost
- If your property offers packages or billing automations, Delphi users must provide a rate plan code. Users need to know what rate code triggers what rate plan in Mews, for example, a breakfast package
How to configure the integration in Mews, Omniboost, and Delphi
You can configure the integration with the following steps:
1. Configure Mews
- Connect Delphi in Mews Marketplace. You can learn more about connecting a Mews Marketplace integration here
- Copy the access token for Omniboost configuration
2. Configure Omniboost
Omniboost acts as middleware between Mews and Delphi, so the configuration steps must be completed before onboarding. Note: You need to complete configuration and block linking in the Omniboost portal for Delphi. You receive the system credentials prior to onboarding.
Room Type Mapping
- Omniboost pulls space categories from Mews
- Each space category must have a mapping code from Delphi. Note: You can find mapping codes in Delphi.
Tax and Rates Configuration
Taxes
- Select the tax rate applicable to night rates
- If operating in a net country, set the field to 0%
- Delphi always sends net rates, and Omniboost calculates the tax
- When the system syncs rates from Mews to Delphi, Omniboost deducts tax when sending the net rate back to Delphi
Rates
- Choose a fallback rate plan if Delphi blocks do not have assigned rates
- Omniboost pulls all rate plans from Mews
- Assign rate plan codes for rates needed in Delphi
Booking purposes
- Map Delphi bookingtypes to Mews reservation purposes, for example, Leisure, Business, Student. Note: You can find the bookingtypes code in Delphi
- Set a fallback booking purpose if the system sends an unmapped type to Mews
3. Configure Delphi
- The Delphi team helps with this step
- Mews does not provide consultation on Delphi configuration
How to link and sync blocks
This step establishes the connection between Mews and Delphi, allowing data to sync in both directions. Mews, Omniboost and Delphi teams are there to guide you through the following steps:
Steps to complete linking and syncing
- Link to Delphi
- Sync to Delphi
- Sync to Mews
