How to download the Discount report in Mews POS

The Discount report in Mews POS is an overview of discounts that Mews POS processes when taking orders. It contains information on discounts such as discount reason, outlets that issue the discount, product categories and more. When you access the report, you can use the Discount report to analyze your performance of discounts. This is useful for gaining insight on discounts and how they impact the performance of your restaurant operations.

 

Note: Only users with ‘Can view reports’ permissions can view and download the report. You can review user roles in Settings > Roles.

 

To download the discount report from the Mews POS web dashboard:

1. Click Reports.
2. Click Discount.
3. Click the drop-down containing the date range to set the time frame for the report.
4. Search and filter the report according to the following filters:

• Outlets: Click the drop-down to select an outlet. Mews POS displays results for that outlet.
• Registers: Click the drop-down to select a register. Mews POS displays results for that register.
• Categories: Click the drop-down to select a category. Mews POS displays results for that category.

 

5. Click   in the top right corner. 
6. Click:
• Download as XLSX: To export the current report as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet file.
• Download as PDF: To export the current report history as a PDF file.

 

You have now downloaded the Discount report.
