Room type settings in Atomize RMS by Mews

Default room type

In the dropdown, you can select which room type should be displayed as default in the dashboard (for example in the calendar view and for competitor pricing).

Room type setup

The room type setup shows the optimized base room types in Atomize and their target rate code, along with the merged room types (if you have any configured).

The image above shows a setup without merged room types.

The image below shows a set up with a base room type that has several merged room types. The first three (Queen, Double superior, and Double balcony) have a derivation defined, whereas the Twin does not and is prices the same as the Double.

Note! Each derivation is related to the base room type price (i.e. they are not added on tope of each other).

Edit derivations

If you have a difference configured between your base room type and the merged ones, you are able to edit the derivation. The value can be set in either amount or in percentage. Note, that it is possible to configure negative values!

Note! When you change and save the derivation(s), the new price is pushed instantly.

Edit room type names

You also have the possibility to edit the room type names visible in Atomize.

Rate codes for derived room types

For some PMSs (Clock, VisBook, Cloudbeds) each room type is mapped to its own rate code. If this is the case, you are able to view each room type's rate code.

Making changes to the room type setup

If you wish to make changes to the merges, or add derivations to room types that do not have any today, please submit a ticket to Atomize Support and we will assist you.
