What is a Sales Day Payout?
A sales day payout groups all the funds from a single day's sales into one payout.
You benefit from this model because:
- You simplify your daily financial reconciliation process.
- You match each payout to a specific day’s sales.
-
If your property is located in the United States or Canada, Mews enables the feature by default.
-
If your property is in the United Kingdom, Mews does not enable the feature by default. To turn it on, contact your Customer Success Manager or submit a support ticket through the Mews Digital Assistant.
Mews groups Sales Day Payouts by the transaction creation date. You do not need to adjust filters or configurations in the report.

You might notice a difference between:
-
Fees in the Payment report.
-
Commissions in the Payout report.
Mews creates commission adjustments at a later date than when you took the payment and, therefore, includes them in a newer payout.
If you view the Commission numbers at the top of the Payout detail report, Mews displays,
-
the commissions from the charges for that day, and
-
the commission adjustments.
-
Identify the total commissions shown for the payout date.
-
Subtract any commission adjustments that appear in the same report.
-
Compare the adjusted commission value with the commission fees in the Payment report.
This gives you a correct match between the Payout report and the Payment report.
