| Mews Package Adjustment to minimum | Mews has minimum pricing in place. When you see an adjustment to the minimum line on the invoice, you fall under our minimum pricing based on price x rooms, and you need an adjustment to get there. |
| Stripe/ Adyen Mews Payments card fee | Mews charges a card protection and tokenization fee for every card tokenized and stored in Mews. Mews tokenizes and stores a card every time new credit card data is provided to Mews. You can learn more about how Mews calculates the card protection and tokenization fee here. |
| MewsPay commission | A Mews Payments fee is the contractual rate of commission for using the Mews Payments payment processor, which Mews automatically subtracts from your Stripe or Adyen account. At the beginning of each month, Mews sends an invoice for these fees, which you can then pass on to your accounting team. |
| MewsPay Commission adjustment |
Mews estimates the amount of commission you need to pay based on the previous month. Once Mews receives the actual fees from Stripe and Adyen, the system automatically adds them to the Payment report export. The system then adjusts them in the Mews Payments balance report. Note: Commission adjustments only apply for Stripe accounts and only for Visa and MasterCard payments. If your property has a negative account balance, commission adjustments can not go through until it is positive. |
