How to create a warehouse in Mews POS

Warehouses in Mews POS represent physical locations where you store your products. Warehouses are part of the inventory system and are a requirement to use inventory tracking. You assign products you create to warehouses and Mews POS deducts stock when you make a sale.

 

Note: To create a warehouse you need to enable inventory tracking in Mews POS. You can learn more about that here.

 

To create a warehouse from the Mews POS web dashboard,

1. Click Inventory.
2. Click Warehouses.
3. Click .
4. Fill out the following details:
   • Warehouse name: Enter the name of the warehouse for your records.
   • Street and no: Enter the street name and street number.
   • Postal code: Enter the postal code of the warehouse.
   • City: Enter the city where the warehouse is located.
   • Country: Click the drop-down to select the country where the warehouse is located.
   • Email: Enter the email address of the warehouse.
   • Phone: Enter the phone number of the warehouse.
5. Click Save.

 

This creates a warehouse in Mews POS.
