How to connect an outlet to a warehouse in Mews POS

When you connect an outlet to a warehouse, Mews POS updates the stock of your products in that warehouse automatically after each sale. It is possible to connect several outlets to a single warehouse. For example, you can connect all outlets to the main warehouse where you store your products.

 

Prerequisites:

• Inventory tracking must be enabled in Mews POS. You can learn how to do that here.
• You must create at least one Warehouse. You can learn how to do that here.
• You must create at least one Outlet. You can learn how to do that here.

To connect an outlet to your warehouse from the Mews POS web dashboard:

1. Click Settings.
2. Click Outlets.
3. Click the Outlet you want to edit.
4. In the outlet side-window, click .
5. Click the Warehouse drop-down menu to select a warehouse.
   
   
   
   
6. Click Save.

This connects a warehouse to an outlet.

You can connect several outlets to a single warehouse if required, for example, you can connect all outlets to the main warehouse.
