Creating comp and void reasons in Mews POS

To have a better insight into comps and voids and a more detailed analysis, we highly recommend using comp and void reasons in Mews POS. Comp and void reports might help you detect the flaws of your operation and eventually improve your business practices.

It's always good to know what happened and analyze your stats later.

But first, you need to define them in the Mews POS web dashboard first.

Here's how to define comp and void reasons: 

1. Sign in to your Mews POS user account on the web as an administrator.
   Only administrators are able to set comp and void reasons.
2. In the main menu, go to Products -> Reasons.
3. Click +ADD to add Comp reason. Enter the comp reason under the Name label and click CREATE. 
   If you don't want to affect the inventory by this action, flip the Affects inventory ratio switch to the left.
   
4. Click +ADD to add a Void reason. Enter the void reason under the Name label and click CREATE.
