How to set up a mobile device for use with Mews POS

To use Mews POS you must first connect and configure applicable hardware. This includes the devices you use to access Mews POS. You must first configure any Android devices, and then configure any additional hardware.

 

To use Mews POS on a mobile device, You install the Mews POS app on a mobile phone or a tablet running the Google Android operating system. You download the Mews POS Android app from the Google Play store, therefore a Google account is required to use Mews POS.

 

With the Mews POS app, you can:

• Add, edit and organize all of your products or services into a neat and visually informative folder system.
• Quickly set up shopping carts and add discounts.
• Charge cash or all major debit and credit cards.
• Track open orders and manage table plans.
• Print receipts or issue them by e-mail and text messages.
• Generate your web shop, monitor your business, extract reports, and see relevant data in easy-to-understand graphs and charts in the web dashboard.
• Transform your mobile device into a mobile POS system when you use a card reader.  

 

 

To install Mews POS on your Android mobile device:

1. Open the Google Play store app.
2. Tap the top search bar and type Mews POS.
3. From the results, tap  Mews POS.
4. Tap Install.
5. Once installed, tap the App icon to open it.
6. Sign in with your user credentials.

 

You have now set up a mobile device for use with Mews POS. You can repeat these steps for all mobile devices.
