How to add external payment options?

To add external payment options in Mews, such as cheque, iDeal. PayPal, etc., follow these steps:
 

  1. If you don't have one already, create an Accounting Category for the type of payment you are adding.
  2. Go to the Main menuSettings > Property > Finance > Accounting Configuration.
  3. From the General settings tab, under External payment types, choose the payment methods that want to have available.
  4. From the Accounting categories tab, scroll down to External payments and add the correct accounting category to each external payment method from the drop-down list.
  5. The selected payment options are now available in the Billing screen under External payments.

     

    Note: In France, the Unspecified external payment type is considered a type of tax fraud. This option is unavailable for selection in French properties.
