How to resolve duplicates of the Mews Connector app?

To fix Mews Connector app duplicates, follow these steps:

 

  1. Check if there are multiple instances of the Mews Connector app running:
    1. Go to your computer's taskbar.
    2. Check if you can see multiple instances of the Mews Connector app.

 

  1. Close all instances of the Mews Connector app:
    1. Press on the Mews Connector app icon to open the Mews Connector app.
    2. Click on the gear icon at the top right.
    3. Click on Close.
    4. Do this for each instance of the Mews Connector app.

 

  1. Delete old versions of the Mews Connector app:
    1. Navigate to the following location in your File Explorer - C:\ProgramData\Mews\Mews Connector 
    2. Locate and delete old versions of the Mews Connector app and eave only the newest version, or delete all versions of the Mews Connector app and follow the guide here on how to install the latest version and set up the Mews Connector app.
    3. Restart your computer.
