The inventory journal in Mews POS tracks and records the changes you make to inventory, such as through stocktakes, deliveries, or stock adjustments. You can use this to analyse changes to your stock levels and understand how your stock operations are performing.
When you manage your inventory using Mews POS, the system records all changes and chronologically displays them in the inventory journal.
To use the inventory journal from the Mews POS web dashboard:
- Click Inventory.
- Click Inventory Journal.
- Use the following fields to filter the information:
- Date: Click to select a date range.
- All warehouses: Click to open a drop-down menu to select a warehouse.
- All document types: Click to open a drop-down menu to select a document type, for example, stocktake, returns, sales order.
- All products: Click to open a drop-down menu to select a product. Note: You can enter a product name into the search bar to locate it quickly.
- The system displays the relevant information based on your filter selections.
The inventory displays the records.
To export the inventory journal, click and then Download as CSV to download a CSV file, or Download as XLSX to download a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet file.
