Track your guests' reservation purposes

You can track your guests' purpose of stay to see whether they're traveling for business, leisure, or as students. You can do so by automatically assigning reservation purpose to a rate. For example, you could attach "Business" to all business rates. Then, Mews automatically assigns the purpose of stay "Business" to every reservation that uses one of those rates.

Note: You cannot create a new reservation purpose or modify the reservation purpose name provided by Mews.

To automatically assign reservation purpose to a rate:

1. Go to the main menu  > Settings > Services.
2. Click on your bookable service, then go to Rates.
3. Click on the name of the rate you want to assign a reservation purpose to.
4. Under Reservation purpose, choose the purpose you want to assign to the rate.
5. Click Save.

Once you assign a reservation purpose, you can always update it in the reservation module. You can then group and filter the Reservation report by Reservation purpose.
