How to set up or change the minimum and maximum price boundaries in Atomize RMS by Mews

You can set up or change the minimum and maximum price boundaries for each room type using the default price hierarchy in Atomize Revenue Management System by Mews. These boundaries control how low or high Atomize sets prices when generating recommendations, helping you protect your rate strategy and avoid underpricing or overpricing. You edit the default price hierarchy when you want to realign your pricing with changes in demand or business strategy. For example, you do this before a peak season to raise your floor prices, after renovations to reflect higher room value, or when testing a new pricing approach. You manage this setup directly in Atomize, from the Price hierarchy section in the Settings menu.

How to change the minimum and maximum price boundaries in Atomize

To change the price limits that apply unless seasonal or daily overrides are active:

  1. In Atomize, click Settings > Price hierarchy.

  2. In the Default price hierarchy section, click Edit.

  3. For each room type field, type the minimum and maximum prices in numbers only. For example, 150.

  4. Click Save.

Note: The default price hierarchy is applicable until you manually modify it.

Using a more flexible setup with tiered price hierarchy

If you want more flexibility, use the tiered price hierarchy structure. This setup allows you to price room types within the same tier independently, while still keeping a logical price order between tiers.

This helps you maximize revenue by letting each room type respond to its own demand, without losing control of the overall pricing structure.
