The workday setting in Mews POS defines when your business day starts and ends. You change this setting in the Mews POS web dashboard to match your operational hours. Admin users typically do this during setup or when business hours change.
Note:
- Any user with the Admin role can change the start and end of the workday. If you cannot access the setting, ask your account administrator to check your permissions.
- Changing the workday updates the timing of your reports and stocktake.
Change the workday in the Mews POS dashboard
If your user role allows access to settings, follow these steps to change the Workday.
From the Mews POS Web dashboard:
- Click Settings > General.
- Scroll down to the workday begins at option and click the dropdown to select your preferred time.
- Click Save.
Note: If the Save button appears pale, your account is missing required information such as phone number, address, city, name, or postal code. Add the missing details to activate the Save button.
Ask Mews customer support to change the workday
If you cannot update the workday and need help, contact Mews Customer Support. A support analyst changes the setting only if:
- You send the request from an email address linked to a user with the correct permissions.
- Your account includes all required details such as name, address, and postal code.
To submit a request, use the Mews Digital Assistant.
This changes the start and end of the workday in Mews POS.
