Atomize is a revenue management tool that helps hotels optimize pricing decisions. If your hotel uses Opera OXI (either Opera OnPremise or Opera Cloud), setting up Atomize requires a few steps. The setup process involves you, your integration partner or Oracle installer, and Atomize. This setup ensures Atomize receives the necessary data from Opera to begin optimizing your revenue. You typically complete this setup during your onboarding with Atomize and before you actively use the tool.
In this article you can learn about:
Steps to set up Atomize with Opera OXI
Step 1: Notify your integration partner
- Contact your Oracle installer or integration partner.
- Tell them you are integrating with Atomize.
- They handle the technical setup for sending data from Opera to Atomize.
Note: Your Opera installer or integration partner handles all data feed setup, including resyncing historical data and enabling message types.
Step 2: Share key hotel information
Send the following information to your Atomize contact:
- Hotel name as listed in Opera
- Full address including country
- Currency for pricing in lowercase. For example, eur, usd
- Timezone. Note: Atomize can infer this if needed.
- Number of rooms per room type, if available.
Step 3: Share reservation type settings
- Identify which reservation types do not deduct inventory.
- Send a screenshot of your Opera Reservation Type configuration:
- In Opera OnPrem, focus on the Ded. Inv. column.
- In Opera Cloud, focus on the Definite column.
Note: This step helps exclude group holds and test bookings from availability calculations.
Step 4: Confirm multi-occupancy pricing
- Share how pricing changes with the number of guests in a room.
- Provide supplement values if available, especially for 1 guest vs 2 guest pricing.
Step 5: Share revenue package information
- Provide your Package Report, listing all packages and transaction codes.
- Provide your Transaction Code Report, which shows the revenue category for each code.
Note: This ensures revenue data is categorized correctly in Atomize.
Step 6: Share component room details
- If your property uses component rooms, send a screenshot of the Room Types screen showing Compon. flags.
- For each component room type, describe how it is built. For example, CONN is made of 1 GAR + 1 CLAV.
Step 7: Share tax rate information
- If possible, send your Transaction Code Report showing tax or VAT values for room revenue.
Note: This step is optional but helps prepare for future tax-related features in Atomize.
This configures Atomize by Mews with Opera OXI.
