How to onboard with Atomize RMS by Mews in Mews Operations

Onboarding with Atomize RMS by Mews involves activating and configuring the revenue management integration so your property can receive automated pricing recommendations. As a property administrator, you complete this onboarding in Mews Operations and Atomize using the Onboarding Dashboard and the Marketplace. You can start this process after signing the Atomize contract and going live with Mews Operations. Completing the setup ensures your rates, spaces, and historical data are correctly configured before revenue optimization begins.


Prerequisites

You can start onboarding only when your property meets all of the following conditions:

  • Your property is live in Mews Operations, not in a test environment.
  • Mews Operations contains all future reservations after you import them.
  • You have an active Booking.com or Expedia listing for rate comparison.

Note: If one of these conditions is missing, the onboarding status remains Planned and the technical configuration does not begin.

 

Step 1: Enable Atomize RMS in the Marketplace

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu  > Marketplace.
  2. Enter Atomize RMS into the search bar.
  3. Click Explore.
  4. Click Connect integration. On successful connection, Mews Operations redirects you to the My subscriptions tab. Note: if the connection is not successful, contact your Mews onboarding manager.
  5. Click Enable on the Atomize RMS integration.

This step connects your property to Atomize and the onboarding tasks appear in your Onboarding Dashboard.

 

Step 2: Complete the RMS tasks in the Onboarding Dashboard

After you enable the integration, you must complete all eight required tasks in the RMS section of your Onboarding Dashboard.

Note: If you do not complete all the eight tasks, the onboarding status remains Planned and the technical configuration does not begin.

If your configuration contains errors or missing information:

  • Onboarding pauses until you complete the tasks.
  • The team contacts you with specific actions to correct.
  • Pricing recommendations may not reflect your strategy accurately.

Complete and accurate setup ensures reliable revenue optimization from the start.

 

Complete the following tasks in the Onboarding Dashboard:

  1. Select one target base rate for all space categories. Note: If you require a different base rate per space category, email [email protected].
  2. Choose your competitor properties. Your property needs to be listed on Booking.com or Expedia to select competitors. Note: If a competitor property has a live booking.com or Expedia listing but does not appear in the list, email [email protected] and provide a URL to the listing.
  3. If you are a Mews Operations user for less than 12 months, you need to upload a file containing historical data to the Mews Operations Onboarding Dashboard. Upload 12 months of daily data including:
    • Average daily rate
    • Occupancy
  4. Review the base rate structure in your property account:
    1. Ensure you link all rates that Atomize optimizes to the target base rate as dependent rates.
    2. Enter future seasonal prices for at least 365 days for the target base rate. These prices act as the reference point for Atomize.
  1. Check base adjustment categories. Confirm that all optimized space categories link to the Base price of your selected base rate, excluding parent spaces.

 

 

 

  1. Review your space category hierarchy if you use parent spaces:

Note: Atomize optimizes physical spaces only. It does not optimize parent spaces. Configure parent spaces as dependent on a physical category.

  • If one space in a category is a parent, ensure all spaces in that category are also parents.
  • Make sure all parent spaces in one category have the same number of child spaces.
  • Avoid multi-level hierarchies where a parent space acts as a child of another space.
  • Confirm that child spaces in the same category belong to the same parent category.

 

 

 

 

When you complete all eight tasks and they show as Finished or In review, the technical configuration begins automatically.

 

Step 3: Mews completes technical configuration

After you submit all tasks:

  • Mews engineers receive an automatic notification.
  • The configuration process takes up to five days.
  • There are no additional actions to do during this phase

If the team identifies missing data or incorrect configuration, they contact you to resolve the issue before activation.

 

Step 4: Activate and configure Atomize

When your account is ready, you receive login details by email. Note: This can take between 7-14 days from the date of submitting tasks. Meanwhile you can:

Review recommendations before you activate automated pricing.
