How to connect VisBook and BookVisit to Atomize RMS by Mews

Atomize RMS by Mews

Atomize RMS by Mews adjusts your room rates automatically based on demand. To keep your pricing dynamic, you connect Atomize RMS by Mews to your property's booking systems, VisBook and BookVisit. You start this setup during onboarding with Atomize RMS by Mews, and you finish it by submitting your data in the secure onboarding form linked in your welcome email from Mews. Atomize RMS by Mews cannot complete the setup unless you submit correct and complete data in that form.

 

In this article, you can learn about the following steps:

 

Step 1: Submit your VisBook and BookVisit access credentials in the onboarding form

You submit your VisBook and BookVisit access credentials in the secure onboarding form that you received in your Atomize RMS by Mews welcome email. Atomize RMS by Mews cannot configure your integration without them.

  1. If you use BookVisit, email [email protected] and request your BookVisit API key activation and your BookVisit organization ID.
  2. If you use VisBook, get your VisBook username, password, and company ID. You receive these when you onboard with VisBook.
  3. Open the secure onboarding form from your Atomize RMS by Mews welcome email.
  4. For VisBook, enter your VisBook username, VisBook password, and VisBook company ID.
  5. For BookVisit, enter your BookVisit API key and BookVisit organization ID.

Note: The form submits all data securely.

 

Step 2: Share your VisBook revenue account IDs in the onboarding form

Atomize RMS by Mews reads revenue data from your VisBook revenue accounts, so you share the IDs of these accounts in the secure onboarding form.

  1. Open the VisBook accounting setup and find your revenue account IDs.
  2. Open the secure onboarding form from your Atomize RMS by Mews welcome email.
  3. Enter the revenue account IDs exactly as they appear in VisBook.

Note: Atomize RMS by Mews tracks revenue only from the accounts you provide and categorizes all other accounts as OTHER. If you change your account mapping in VisBook later, Atomize RMS by Mews shows incorrect key performance indicators (KPIs) until you update the mapping. Tell Mews about any changes so the mapping stays correct.

 

Step 3: Map your room types in the onboarding form

You map your VisBook and BookVisit room types in the secure onboarding form so Atomize RMS by Mews can connect them to your rooms.

  1. Open the secure onboarding form from your Atomize RMS by Mews welcome email.
  2. List all room types from VisBook and BookVisit.
  3. For each VisBook room type, enter the VisBook room type ID and name.
  4. For each BookVisit room type, enter the BookVisit RoomID and RoomTypeCode.

Note: If you cannot access the IDs, enter the exact room type names as they appear in each system.

 

Step 4: Map your rate plans in the onboarding form

You map your VisBook and BookVisit rate plans in the secure onboarding form so Atomize RMS by Mews updates your prices correctly.

  1. Open the secure onboarding form from your Atomize RMS by Mews welcome email.
  2. For each VisBook rate plan, enter the VisBook rate code and name. VisBook calls a rate plan a price group.
  3. For each BookVisit rate plan, enter the BookVisit RatePlanID and name.

Note: If you cannot provide IDs, enter the exact rate plan names. Correct mapping ensures that Atomize RMS by Mews updates prices accurately.

 

Step 5: Indicate guest-based pricing in the onboarding form

If your prices change based on the number of guests in a room, you confirm this in the secure onboarding form. Mews uses your answers to set up multipax pricing, which is pricing that varies by guest count.

  1. Open the secure onboarding form from your Atomize RMS by Mews welcome email.
  2. Specify whether Target Rate Base pricing applies. [INSERT: SME to define Target Rate Base.]
  3. Enter the room types or rate plans that use guest-based pricing.
  4. Enter the guest levels you use, for example, 1 guest, 2 guests, and 3 guests.

Note: You must confirm where your pricing changes by guest count so Mews can set up multipax pricing correctly.

 

Step 6: Submit the form and complete the final signup

You submit the secure onboarding form and then complete the final signup to activate your VisBook and BookVisit integration with Atomize RMS by Mews.

  1. In the secure onboarding form, click Submit.
  2. Wait for the signup link from Mews. You receive it after Mews reviews your data, which takes a few days.
  3. Open the signup link, for example, https://pms-signup.atomize.one/visbook?checksum=XXXX.
  4. Complete the final onboarding form to activate your integration.

After this step, your VisBook and BookVisit integration with Atomize RMS by Mews is set up.
