The Mean price per covers payment report is one of the reports in Mews POS that provides an overview of a restaurant’s performance within the selected time frame. The report shows the average cost of service per person served in your restaurant. All revenue from payments is represented, including sales and any other ad-hoc payments. You can use the information in the report to make data-based decisions to optimize sales and increase profitability by adjusting your product offer, payment methods, and marketing strategy.
Note: Only users with ‘Can view reports’ permissions can view and download the report. You can review user roles in Settings > Roles.
To download the Mean price per covers Payment report from the Mews POS web dashboard:
- Click Reports.
- Click Payments.
- Click the drop-down containing the date range to set the time frame for the report.
- Search and filter the payment history according to the following filters:
- Outlets: Click the drop-down to select an outlet. Mews POS displays results for that outlet.
- Registers: Click the drop-down to select a register. Mews POS displays results for that register.
- Users: Click the drop-down to select a user. Mews POS displays results for that user.
- Click
in the top right corner.
- Under mean price per covers click:
- Download as XLSX: To export the current report as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet file.
- Download as PDF: To export the current report history as a PDF file.
