How to view the Payments history in Mews POS

The Payments history is a record of the transactions that Mews POS processes. It contains payment transaction details such as the amount, transaction type, and payment method. Use the Payments history to find specific transactions that Mews POS processes, review payment details, or investigate payment issues.

 

If you would like an overview of payments instead of the payment history, Mews POS recommends using a Payment report.

 

When you take Multicurrency payments in Mews POS, the Payments history records them as standard card transactions. To review the Multicurrency revenue and commission breakdown, open the Payment Report in Mews Operations.


To access the Payments history from the Mews POS web dashboard:

  1. Click Sales.
  2. Click Payments.
  3. The system displays a list of processed payments. Note: The system displays the current day's payments by default.

 

  1. Search and filter the payment history according to the following fields:
    • Date range: Click the drop-down containing the date range to select a time frame.
    • Search Payments: Enter a term into the search bar to filter the results.
    • All customers: Click the drop-down to select a customer. Mews POS displays results for that customer.
    • All payment methods: Click the drop-down to select a payment method. Mews POS displays results for that payment method.
    • All users: Click the drop-down to select a user. Mews POS displays results for that user.
    • All outlets: Click the drop-down to select an outlet. Mew POS displays results for that outlet.
    • All registers: Click the drop-down to select a register. Mews POS displays results for that register.

Note: The Payments history displays the amount you settle in your property currency.

  1. To export the payment history, click   and select one of the following options:
    • Payments (CSV): Export the current payment history as a CSV file.
    • Payments (XLSX): Export the current payment history as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet file.
    • Payments (PDF): Export the current payment history as a PDF file.



You have now viewed and exported your payment history in Mews POS.
