You can track your purchased products and monitor breakfast consumption in Mews Operations using the reporting features. Tracking breakfast helps front office teams, restaurant staff, and management plan daily operations more efficiently, optimize meal preparation, and control food costs.
You can view breakfast consumption:
- Before service, to estimate the number of breakfasts expected for the day.
- During service, to monitor guests already consuming breakfast.
- After service, to reconcile the number of breakfasts consumed against reservations and billing.
Use the following reports depending on your needs:
- Product checklist: Best for viewing confirmed breakfast consumption on the day.
- Guests in-house report: Best for checking reservations with breakfast included before service starts.
Both the Product checklist and Guests in house report help you adjust staffing levels, reduce food waste, and improve your service.
