Understanding the Mean price per covers sales report from Mews POS

The Mean price per covers sales report is one of the sales reports in Mews POS that provides an overview of a restaurant’s sales performance within the selected time frame. The report shows the average cost of service per person in your restaurant. You can use the information in the report to make data-based decisions to optimize sales and increase profitability by adjusting your product offer, pricing, and marketing strategy. 

 

Note: Only users with ‘Can view reports’ permissions can view and download the report. You can review user roles in Settings > Roles. 

 

 

Understanding the fields in the Mean price per covers sales report

The Mean price per covers sales report displays the average cost of service per person in your restaurant. The report displays data by Revenue Center and three date ranges.This  displays data for the current day, the current month, and the current year. The report is broken down by:

• Revenue center: The name of the revenue center where sales occur.
• Net Revenue: The total revenue you receive for the revenue center.
• Covers: The total number of people you serve for the revenue center.
• Mean price: The average price per person for the revenue center.
