You can use restrictions in Mews Operations to stop guests from making reservations that meet certain conditions. This gives you more control over your reservation management. You can apply restrictions to rates, and space types in your property(s), to control how they are booked by guests. You, or your revenue managers can view and manage restrictions in Mews Operations in a list, or in a calendar view.
You can edit your restrictions at any time, to change their conditions and exceptions, and to control when they apply. You also can delete restrictions that are no longer useful, individually, or in bulk.
You can also delete specific time periods, or days from within existing restrictions, to make certain dates available during a longer restricted period. This is useful to make ad-hoc changes to your restrictions, without having to delete the original, longer restriction.
The system does this by:
- Removing the restriction for the time period you select and automatically creating two more restrictions on either side of that period. You can learn more about restrictions here.
