How to connect the terminal to your Wi-FI network

Note:

  • The system requires you to only use secure Wi-Fi connections for all internet-enabled payment devices.
  • It is important you connect your Mews Terminal S1 to password-protected Wi-Fi networks that leverage either WPA-Personal or WPA2-Personal encryption.
  • If you connect your Mews Terminal S1 device to a public Wi-Fi network, the payment provider disconnects you, preventing you from processing payments.

You need to connect the Mews Terminal S1 to the same local network as Mews. To connect:

  1. On the terminal welcome screen, swipe right.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Enter the admin PIN.
