You can order your new Mews Terminal 1.0 with automated ordering through the Mews Marketplace. If you are a property admin, you can order new terminals using the provided order form in a few clicks. Upon receiving your order, Mews ships the terminal and delivers it within a few days, so you can immediately benefit from frictionless payment processing.
Note:
- This feature is only available in certain countries. You can learn more about delivery expectations per country here.
- Only employees with admin permissions can place orders through the Marketplace.
- You can only order the new upgraded Mews Terminal 2.0 through Mews Marketplace. Mews Terminal 2.0 is a Mews Payments terminal powered by integration with Stripe.

How to order your Mews Terminal 1.0 from the Mews Marketplace
To order your Mews Terminal from the Mews Marketplace:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Marketplace.
- Type "Mews Terminal" into the search bar, or
- Under More categories, click Payments.
Note: You can also access the Mews Terminal integration straight from the Mews Dashboard. If the Marketplace section displays the Mews Terminal integration advertisement:
- Click Discover and follow Step 3 of this guide.
- Locate the Mews Terminal integration and click Explore.
- Click Order to fill out the order form in the pop-up window.
- Complete the following fields:
- Quantity: From the drop-down menu, select the number of Mews Terminals you want to purchase.
- Recipient's name: Enter the name of the person at your property to receive the terminal/s.
- State: The state/ province of your property's location. Note: This is a mandatory field for US, Australia, Canada, Spain, Italy, and Hong Kong.
- Mews automatically populates the following fields based on your property settings:
- Company name: The name of your company.
- Email: The email of the property.
- Shipping country: The country of your property's location.
- Shipping address: The property address. Mews automatically populates your address in the address fields.
- Phone: The property telephone number, including country code.
Note: Verify all information is correct before continuing. You can amend it if necessary.
- Under Terms of Service, select the checkbox to confirm that you accept all terms and conditions. Note: Click the Terms and conditions link to review the Mews Payment Terminal policy.
- Click Order to complete the process. Note: This action initiates the billing cycle of terminals ordered.
- Mews displays a success message and sends a confirmation email to the email address you provide in the terminal order form process. Note: The email contains further information about tracking your order and connecting your Mews Terminal to the Mews Terminal integration once the terminal arrives.
Note: Mews displays a banner notification when it prohibits the order. The banner displays for the following reasons:
- You do not have permission to purchase the terminal. Contact your manager to complete the process.
- You need to change your account settings. Contact your customer success representative for assistance with the adjustments.

The following table shows the shipping times in business days after you place the order. Note: If you order after 1 pm local time, the shipping starts the following day.

How to track your order
Once you have successfully ordered your new Mews Terminal, Mews automatically creates a new Mews Terminal integration for your property. To track your order in the new integration:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Marketplace.
- In the Marketplace, go to My subscriptions.
- Locate the new Mews Terminal integration and click on Edit to go to the settings page. Note: The default integration name is Mews Terminal.
- Click Orders.
The Orders table divides your terminal orders into the following columns:
- Date: The date you processed the order in Mews.
- Status: The delivery status. Note: The Status column displays as Pending until your order is shipped. If you order after 1 pm local time, the shipping starts the following day. You can learn more about delivery expectations per country here.
- Terminals: The number of terminals ordered.
- Tracking number: The delivery courier tracking number. Note: The Tracking number column is empty until your order is shipped.
- Address: The address that the courier delivers the terminal to.
Note: You can order more terminals directly from the Orders screen. To do so:
- Click Order terminal to return to the Marketplace order screen.
How to return your old Mews Terminal 1.0
To return your old Mews Terminal 1.0, you must:
- Pair your Mews Terminal 2.0
- Contact Mews Support
Note: After completing these steps, Mews stops your old Mews Terminal 1.0 billing cycle.
