SEPA Direct Debit is a cashless direct debit payment system available in 37 countries in Europe and several non-EU countries. When you integrate it with Mews, guests can pay for one-off single payments using SEPA Direct Debit in the Mews Booking Engine, online check-out, and payment requests sent by your property. This is useful for guests who do not have a credit card. You can set up SEPA Direct Debit for your property at any time by configuring the Mews Alternative Payment Methods integration from the Mews Marketplace.
Note:
- Mews recommends setting the Payment card input field to Not required for fully or partially paid bookings in the Mews Booking Engine configuration settings for the best experience.
- There is a 10.000 EUR limit on the Adyen SEPA payments.
To configure SEPA Direct Debit as an alternative payment method:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Marketplace.
