Step 1: Find and provide user email domains
To set up SSO in your Mews account, you need to provide all user email domains. Note: You need to provide the correct user domains for all users, including if you have multiple brands or use different email domains throughout different properties.
How to find your user email domains
The email domain is the section of the email address after the @. For example, in the email address, [email protected], the email domain is mews.com.
- If you use multiple domains: For example, [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected], mews.co.uk, mews.com and mews.it are your email domains.
- If you use multiple brand names: For example, [email protected] and [email protected], prop1.brand.com and prop2.brand.com, are your email domains.
Step 2: Find and provide the proper IdP domain
You need to provide the identity provider domain, or IdP. This is the main email domain you use to set up with your identity provider. It is possible that you have the same domain name set for both user email domains and IdP domain. For example, if you use Microsoft azure, it looks like mews.onmicrosoft.com.
Step 3: Request SSO activation in Mews Operations
Note: This step is not required if your account has Mews Multi-Property
To request SSO activation:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Settings > Property > Security.
- In the Single sign-on (SSO) section, click Request.
Once Mews processes your request, you receive an email notification.
This prepares you for Single Sign-on in for your Mews account.
