Sending a video to Mews support by recording your screen is a useful way to help diagnose and resolve difficulties. Here’s how to do it using built-in tools in both Windows and macOS with no additional or third-party software required.
When it comes to sending video evidence to Mews, we advise against making recordings with your mobile phone, as they are often of low quality, and therefore make it difficult for Mews support to quickly assist you. For this reason, we strongly recommend using one of the two methods explained in this article.
In this article you can learn how to:
Record your screen in Windows OS
Use the Snipping Tool for simple screen recordings.
-
In the Start menu, search for and open Snipping Tool.
-
Select the Record tab in the toolbar.
-
Click New, then select the area of the screen you want to record.
-
Click Start to begin recording.
-
Click Stop when you're finished.
-
Save the video to your preferred location.
