Rate groups are groups of different rates that use the same cancellation policies and payment policies. You can manage your customized groups of rates in Mews Multi-Property. You can learn how to create rate groups in Mews Multi-Property here and how to assign and unassign properties from a central rate group in Mews Multi-Property here.
In Mews Multi-Property, you can manage your:
- Central rate groups: Centralized groups of rates specific to your portfolio, that you can link to rate groups across your multiple properties. You can use these to manage rate groups in bulk and update local rate groups across multiple properties at once.
- Local rate groups: Customized groups of rates specific to a property. You can learn more about rate groups on a property level here.
Managing rate groups in your multi-property account saves time spent logging into individual property accounts to modify or delete rate groups per property. Your revenue managers can maintain standardized rate plans across all properties in your portfolio. It gives you flexibility to customize your rate strategy and reduces errors by minimizing manual tasks.
Notes:
- Mews automatically applies all changes you make to central rate groups, to the linked local rate groups.
- If you edit a local rate group linked to a central rate group, on a property level, any change you make to the central rate group overwrites these local changes.
