You can create customized groups of rates in Mews Multi-Property. Rate groups are groups of different rates that use the same cancellation policies and payment policies. You need to create payment policies before you can create a rate group. You can learn more about them on a property-level here.
You can use rate groups to:
- Adjust, optimize and standardize your rate management strategy across multiple properties,
- Ensure pricing consistency for your guests.
- Organize and centrally manage rates from across the properties in your portfolio as a single unit, so you can adjust and standardize rate groups settings in bulk.
In Mews Multi-Property, you can create:
- Central rate groups: Centralized groups of rates specific to your portfolio, that you can link to rate groups across your multiple properties. You can use these to manage rate groups in bulk, and update rate groups and rates across multiple properties at once, saving you time.
- Local rate groups: Customized groups of rates specific to a property. You can learn more about rate groups on a property level here.
Using central rate groups saves time spent logging into individual property accounts to create or update rate groups per property. Central rate groups can also provide an overview of a property, or property group’s, general rate group setup, giving more clarity to your rate management strategy.
This ensures that your revenue managers can maintain standardized rate plans across all properties in your portfolio, while providing flexibility to customize your rate strategy per rate group. This reduces errors by minimizing manual tasks.
