How to link local rate groups to central rate groups in Mews Multi-Property

You, your hotel staff or administrative personnel responsible for managing property rates and groupings can link local rate groups to central rate groups in Mews Multi-Property. This process ensures local rate groups align with central policies and pricing structures, maintaining consistency across different properties.

Note: You cannot link,

• • local rate groups you have already linked to another central rate group.
  • rate groups from the same property.
  • rate groups with different service keys.

 

To link local rate groups to central rate groups:

1. In Mews Multi-Property, go to the main menu  > Rate management > Rate groups.
2. Select Local rate groups.

3. To choose one or more local rate groups to link, check the box alongside the rate group name(s).
4. To begin linking, click Link to central rate group, or click , and select Link to central rate group from the drop-down menu. Note: If your selection includes any rate group that does not meet the criteria, Mews disables the Link to central rate group button.

 

 

 

5. Mews displays the Link to central rate group side-window.
6. Click the Central rate group* dropdown to select the central rate group to which you want to link the local rate groups.

 

7. Click Next.
8. Review your selections on the Summary step, as below:  

9. Click Save to finalize the process. Click Go back to return to the previous step or Cancel.

Note: Linking overwrites existing settings for the selected local rate groups. Always verify the details before proceeding with the linkage to avoid any discrepancies in rate policies.

 

This links the local rate group(s) to the central rate group you select. 

 

The result of linking is as follows: 

• The system overwrites the details of your selected local rate groups with the data from the central rate group you choose.
• The system updates the linked local rate groups whenever you change the central rate group.
