How to delete local rate groups in Mews Multi-Property

Administrative personnel in charge of rate management within Mews Multi-Property can remove local rate groups no longer needed or applicable. This process helps maintain an up-to-date and accurate representation of available rates. It ensures that obsolete or incorrect rate groups do not affect the booking process.

 

Note:

• • You cannot delete,
    • local rate groups you have already linked to another central rate group.
    • rate groups with active rates associated.
  • Deleting rate groups is irreversible. You should only delete them after verifying that you no longer require them.

 

To delete local rate groups:

1. In Mews Multi-Property, go to the main menu > Rate management > Rate groups.
2. Select Local rate groups.
3. To choose one or more local rate groups to delete, click the checkbox next to the rate group name.
4. To begin deleting, click Delete, or click , and select Delete from the drop-down menu. Note: If your selection includes any rate group that does not meet the criteria, Mews disables the Delete button.

 

 

 

5. Mews displays a confirmation message asking you to validate your choice to delete the selected rate group(s).

 

 

6. To proceed with the deletion, click Delete. Note: This action removes all selected local rate groups from Mews.
