Offboarding from Mews FAQs
Can I get my data back after the system deletes my account?
No. Deletion is permanent, and Mews cannot recover any data once the system deletes your environment.
I stopped using Mews but my termination date is later. What should I do in the meantime?
Put your account into a dormant state by following the steps in the Offboarding from Mews help article, and complete your data downloads before your termination date.
How do I get all my customer bills and invoices at once?
Reply directly to the offboarding email you receive and request a bulk download, via the Mews Digital Assistant in Mews Operations, or using this form.
I am in Germany and need a GoBD export. How do I get it?
You can request it by following the steps in the How to generate a GoBD data export in Mews Operations help article before your termination date.
I forgot to download something and the system deleted my account. Can support help?
No, once the system deletes your environment, the data no longer exists and you cannot retrieve it, which is why you need to download everything ahead of time.
Do I get my remaining Mews Payments balance back?
Yes. After your scheduled termination date, Mews retains a reserve for 90 days to cover any chargebacks. Once the 90-day period ends, Mews automatically pays out the remaining balance, minus any chargebacks you incur during that period.
Can I correct a guest invoice after my notice period ends?
No. You need to issue the correction from your external accounting system.
Can I refund a Mews payment after the system deletes my account?
No. You need to refund the guest external to Mews and account for this in your new system.
