You can set up Guided Access on iOS devices to ‘pin an app’ to your device so customers cannot click out of it. This means there is always a single app on the screen. This prevents guests from accessing other apps on your device or browsing the internet.
When you turn on Guided Access in iOS devices:
- It locks the device to the kiosk app in either guest mode or staff mode.
- Locking the device in guest mode allows you to leave the device unattended for guests to use for self check in.

Troubleshooting
Following recent iOS updates from Apple, version 14.6 and above, there has been an error that you can no longer enable Guided Access mode. This is a bug with Apple's Operating System that Apple needs to resolve.
As a workaround, turning the device off and back on allows the device to be put into Guided Access mode.
