If Flexkeeping is running slowly, a screen doesn't load, or a dashboard shows no data or the wrong numbers, try the steps below before you contact Mews Support.
Troubleshooting a slow, crashing, or unresponsive Flexkeeping app
In this article, you can learn how to troubleshoot your Flexkeeping app before you contact Mews Support:
- Step 1: Check your connection
- Step 2: Update the app
- Step 3: Check your browser
- Step 4: Check for a busy automated workflow
- Step 5: Confirm the scope
- Contact Mews Support
Step 1: Check your connection
Flexkeeping needs an active internet connection to load and sync data.
- Check your Wi-Fi signal, or switch to mobile data if you use the mobile app.
- If Wi-Fi is unstable, a wired or mobile data connection may load faster.
Step 2: Update the app
An outdated app version can cause slow performance or crashes.
- Go to the App Store on iOS or the Google Play Store on Android.
- Install any available update.
- Reopen the app and try again.
Step 3: Check your browser
If you use Flexkeeping in a browser and a page or dashboard, such as the Cleaning Times Dashboard, doesn't load or shows no data:
- Refresh the page.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try a private or incognito window.
- Try a different supported browser if the issue continues.
Step 4: Check for a busy automated workflow
A workflow that creates a large number of tasks at once can slow Flexkeeping down for everyone at your property.
- Open Workflow Builder and check the Execution Dashboard for any workflow that has run an unusually high number of times recently.
- Pause it and check if performance improves. You can learn more about turning a workflow on or off in our help article How to build your own automated workflows in Flexkeeping.
Step 5: Confirm the scope
Before you contact Mews Support, check how widely the issue affects your property.
- Is it happening to one person, or everyone at your property?
- Is it one page or feature, or the whole app? This helps Mews Support diagnose faster if you still need to contact them.
Contact Mews Support
