Understanding data field mappings for the DocuSign integration in Mews Operations

You can map a range of Mews data fields into your DocuSign contract templates when generating long-stay resident contracts in Mews Operations. This article lists the guest, reservation, property, and company fields available for mapping, so you can build contract templates that pull in the details you need without manual editing after export. Property admins use this reference when setting up or reviewing template mapping in Property settings.

Guest profile fields

The following fields come from the guest's profile:

  • Email
  • Title
  • First name
  • First last name
  • Second last name
  • Nationality
  • Language
  • Telephone
  • Sex
  • Date of birth
  • Place of birth
  • Identity document number
  • Identity document type
  • Identity document issuing country
  • Identity document issue date
  • Identity document expiration date

 

Note: When a guest has more than one identity document on file, Mews uses the passport first. If no passport is on file, Mews uses the national ID card. If neither is on file, the field stays blank.

 

Guest address fields

  • Full address
  • Street (main)
  • Street (additional)
  • City
  • Postal code
  • Country
  • State or province

 

Companion fields

Companion fields pull data from a companion linked to the same reservation as the primary guest.

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email
  • Date of birth
  • Nationality
  • ID or passport number

 

Note: If a reservation has more than one companion, Mews maps only the first companion. Mews doesn't map companions who are linked to a group rather than directly to the reservation.

 

Unit and property fields

  • Room or unit number
  • Space category
  • Floor number

 

Reservation detail fields

  • Reservation owner
  • Service
  • Space category
  • Room number
  • Confirmation number
  • Arrival date
  • Arrival time
  • Departure date
  • Departure time

Mews also provides two average rate fields per bookable unit: Average rate and Average rate with products.

 

Company profile fields

Company profile fields pull data from the company profile linked to the guest or reservation:

  • Company name
  • Company address line 1
  • Company address line 2
  • Company city
  • Company postal code
  • Company country
  • Company fiscal identifier
  • Company tax identifier

 

Contract period

  • Contract start date
  • Contract end date

 

Fields provided natively by DocuSign

The following fields don't need mapping in Mews. Configure them directly on the corresponding tab in your DocuSign template instead:

  • Full name — use the DocuSign fullName tab
  • Signature date — use the DocuSign dateSigned tab
