Why do I get the "Your card does not support this type of purchase" error message?

If you get the error message "Your card does not support this type of purchase" when charging a virtual credit card (VCC), it could be due to any of the following reasons:

 

• The user cannot use the card for online payments.
• A setting in the card holder's bank blocks the card for contactless payments or online purchases.
• The guest's bank decided not to authorize that specific charge.
• The card holder did not add the funds to the VCC on time.
