A Mews Payments fee is the contractual rate of commission for using the Mews Payments payment processor, which Mews automatically subtracts from your Stripe or Adyen account. At the beginning of each month, Mews sends an invoice for these fees, which you can then pass on to your accounting team.
You can view the card types that your Stripe or Adyen Mews Payments account supports in the terms of your Mews contract. You can find out whether you're using Stripe or here. If you have any questions about your Mews Payments integration setup, you can contact our support team.

Fees
Mews charges Mews Payments, Interchange (IC), and Scheme fees with every transaction.
- Mews Payments refers to the commission you pay Mews for using Mews Payments. You can find the rate for this fee in your contract.
- Interchange and Scheme fees, collectively called Interchange ++, are fees that the merchant’s bank pays to the customer’s bank for payment processing. These fees vary based on the type of card and countries involved in the transaction. The rates for these fees are set by payment networks, such as Visa and Mastercard.
